Business Administrator – Level 3

The Business Administrator apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of your business and your apprentices. Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in a variety of sectors. Our well qualified staff will deliver the apprenticeship standards to support apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required as a Business Administrator and which effectively link to successful workplace practice and proficiency.

Customer Service Practitioner – Level 2​

The Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of your business and your apprentices. The apprenticeship standard can be applied to a variety of job roles across many different sectors, the role of a customer service practitioner is to deliver high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation.
This apprenticeship offers apprentices the opportunity to improve skills, knowledge and behaviours whilst gaining professional industry and occupational skills with dedicated support from the ITEC staff team.

Customer Service Specialist – Level 3

The Customer Service Specialist apprenticeship standard is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of your business and your apprentices. A customer service specialist is a ‘professional’ for direct customer support within all sectors and organisation types, an advocate of Customer Service who acts as a referral point for dealing with more complex or technical customer support.
This apprenticeship offers apprentices the opportunity to develop sector skills, knowledge and behaviours whilst gaining professional industry skills and competence.

Team Leader / Superviso​r – Level 3

The Team Leading apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of your business and apprentices. A team leader/supervisor is a first line management role, with operational responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clear and defined outcome. ITEC will support apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours and work with employers to support occupational competence development of apprentices to meet the needs of this essential supervisory role.
ITEC is passionate about education and committed to collaborative working in all apprenticeship provision it delivers using employer and apprenticeship feedback as a mechanism to drive quality improvement.

Assessor/Coach – Level 4

The Assessor/Coach apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of business and the apprentice. An Assessor/Coach will inspire, motivate and raise learners’ aspirations through their passion for the sector.The role of an Assessor/Coach is to agree a programme of development and assessment, setting realistic but challenging goals that meet learners’ and employers’ needs.
ITEC have well qualified staff with extensive experience of delivering Assessor qualifications and will support apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to comply with awarding organisation requirements and quality guidelines and effectively link these skills to workplace practice.

Learning and Development Practitioner – Level 3

L&D Practitioners are typically involved with identifying learning / training needs, designing / sourcing training and learning solutions, delivering and evaluating training, and working with stakeholder / business area managers. The role focus is often on the practical delivery of training. The L&D Practitioner will typically have expertise and competence in their specific field whether it be technical, vocational or behavioural (e.g. use of software, food preparation, working in teams). They link the learning within their area of responsibility to business objectives and performance, understanding the learning cycle and working by it. The role can be more specialist, with a focus on and requiring in-depth expertise in a specific area of L&D such as learning design, e-learning or digital / blended learning. Whichever of these is an area of focus; the L&D Practitioner is future focused, understands the business context / culture and has a good grounding across the whole training and learning cycles.

Learning Mentor – Level 3

Mentoring is – and has been for centuries – the foundation of vocational training and apprenticeships, yet this standard is the first formal recognition of this role. Nowadays, mentoring takes place in all parts of the Education and Training Sector (ETS) and staff-development contexts. LMs support learners of all ages, and all levels, to develop within a new work role. These learners may be, for example, apprentices, trainees or new recruits (ranging from young entrants, to new CEOs) in the workplace, or in any vocational learning environment.

Retailer – Level 2

The Retailer apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of your business and your apprentices. The main purpose of a retailer is to assist customers when they purchase products and services, ITEC will support the apprentice by teaching the knowledge required in the apprenticeship standards and identify opportunities for skills development with the employer in the workplace. Apprentices will understand the importance of brand and business reputation and how increase sales through product placement.

Retail Team Leader – Level 3

The Retail Team Leader apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace with 20% off the job learning and is planned to meet the needs of your business and your apprentices. Retail team leaders are a critical support to managers, delivering exceptional customer service and a positive experience to customers.
ITEC can offer apprentices the opportunity to develop this sector expertise and knowledge whilst gaining professional industry skills in the workplace. The apprenticeship standards link the knowledge, skills and behaviour’s which are delivered by ITEC and are applied in the workplace.

The Retail Manager apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of the business and individual apprentices. Retail managers are responsible for delivering sales targets and a positive experience to customers that will encourage repeat custom and loyalty to the business. Well qualified ITEC staff will support apprentices to develop the skills, knowledge, behaviours and workplace competence to effectively manage the customer experience and identify a variety of ways to inspire and motivate team members.

Healthcare Support Worker – Level 2

The Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of business and apprentices.Healthcare support workers (HCSWs) work as part of a team providing high quality care to individuals and carry out well-defined routine clinical duties. ITEC staff will deliver the apprenticeship standards to support apprentices to follow the relevant standards, policies and protocols used in the workplace and to develop the skills and knowledge which are key to the role of Healthcare Support Worker.

Adult Care Workers are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Lead Adult Care Worker – Level 3

The Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of the business and individual apprentices. Lead Adult Care Workers have responsibility for providing supervision, frontline leadership, guidance and direction for others. Expert staff will deliver the apprenticeship standards to support apprentices to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for a Lead Adult Care Worker, supporting employers with the development of workplace practice and proficiency.

Teaching Assistant – Level 3

The Teaching Assistant apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace with 20% off the job learning, and is planned around the needs of the business and individual apprentices. Teaching Assistants work in Primary, Special and Secondary education across all age ranges encompassing special educational needs and emotional vulnerabilities. The primary role of the Teaching Assistant is to support the class teacher to enhance pupils’ learning either in groups or individually, ensuring pupils understand the work set, know their learning objectives and stay on task in order to make progress. Promoting self-belief, social inclusion and a high self-esteem play an integral part to pupils’ well-being; ensuring pupils thrive in a positive, nurturing, safe environment. It is an active role supporting the learner to access the curriculum. They are good role models, act with honesty and integrity, take part in team meetings; contribute to planning and class activities. Promoting Fundamental British Values through spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and positive behaviours are crucial in contributing to improved pupil progress and development.
